This transit-time ultrasonic flowmeter easily mounts to the outside of pipes to measure the flow rates of liquids. The flowmeter consists of a clamp on sensor and an ultrasonic flow converter. The sensor is constructed of polycarbonate with an aluminum cover that is weatherproof, and protects against aggressive vapors, direct sunlight, dust, and dirt. The sensor and converter are connected via a coax cable with gold-plated connectors at the sensor.

Operate the flow converter using a four-button optical keypad or a PC using the included PACTWARE software. Step by step instructions guides user through installation, such as choosing pipe size, liquid viscocity, and temperature. After powering up, there is an automatic self test and total startup time is only fifteen minutes.
